Another Interesting Discovery

I was pruning trees and bushes Saturday morning, and freaked out when I first found this guy because I picked him up with my other branches! He blended in perfectly! We looked him up in our bug book, and we think he will become a sphinx moth. You can't really tell by the pictures, but he was pretty big. He was more than 3 inches long, and about 1/2 inch wide. Isn't he so cool?

That is SOOO Cool! I have never seen anything like it! It has a head and a tail and little legs... that is awesome! Do you know where it is now? Are you keeping tabs on it to see what it does? That is amazing!

We went looking for him yesterday and couldn't find him. We're keeping our eyes peeled for him, and hopefully we'll get to see his cocoon!

Woah. I'm not sure whether to say, "gross" or "Cool." But the dead bird is definitely GROSS!

Very cool! It looks like something in a cartoon! Stuff like that never ceases to amaze me. But yeah, be glad you didn't get rabies or anything from that dead bird. EEW!!!
